ABQ Pediatric Dentistry is an in-network provider for many dental insurance plans, including Delta Dental (all plans), Principal PPO, Ameritas PPO, Reliance, and Reliance Standard. As of January 1, 2019, ABQ Pediatric Dentistry is also an in-network provider for plans managed by Connection Dental, including GEHA, Dental Source, Metlife, United Healthcare, BlueCross BlueShield, Lincoln Financial, Dentemax, and United Concordia.
There are many Albuquerque employers with whom we often work, including Sandia National Laboratories (Sandia Labs), Intel, the University of New Mexico (UNM), Lovelace, Costco, UPS, the City of Albuquerque, the State of New Mexico, Albuquerque Public Schools (APS), Presbyterian, Albuquerque Health Partners, Bernalillo County, Southwest Airlines, Wells Fargo, the US Military, General Mills, and Thomas & Betts.
We make every effort to keep this list up to date. The best way to find out if we are an in-network provider for your specific dental plan is to check with your insurance directly. Most companies allow you to do this with a quick “find a dentist” search through your insurance provider’s website. For specific details on your dental coverage, please check with your insurance representative. They can provide you with the most up-to-date information and details about your policy.
If we are not an in-network provider for your plan, we can still accept it on an out-of-network basis. In many cases, out-of-network plans provide an insurance payment covering 80%-100% for two checkups per year. For detailed information on your in-network versus out-of-network benefits, please check with your insurance representative directly.
We will do our best to assist you with general insurance inquiries. We are happy to file insurance on your behalf. If treatment is needed, we can submit a predetermination to your insurance company. This will give you an estimate of what your out-of-pocket expense, if any, will be before beginning treatment.
At ABQ Pediatric Dentistry, our friendly staff will always go above and beyond to assist you in financial matters. We accept most forms of payment including debit cards, credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express, cash, and checks. Payment is expected at the time of service.
Kindly provide at least 48 hours notice for any appointment that needs to be rescheduled. Appointments cancelled in less than 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation charge.
